Introduction:

Our game is called OrcRunner, it is based on Indonesian Folklore from java. The folklore was about an elderly woman who has an agreement with green skinned giant (Buto Ijo). The agreement was to nurture the child given by him however when the child had grown up she must give the child back. The child (Timun Mas) have been trapped in the situation where she was chased by Buto Ijo. The elderly women equipped her with four bags of magic items inside it. The Golden Cucumber is a third person perspective 2D platform game. Moving horizontally across the screen.

Gameplay:

The player is represented by Timun Mas. The player controls the movement by using the left and right arrow keys (to turn), and the up arrow key (to jump). There are no brakes, but the player will slow down if the player collides with one of the obstacles. Player can use the magic items to escape that situation the other way around, Buto Ijo will get closer and catch Timun Mas. It will run faster if the player constantly avoid obstacles, the game becoming more challenging as it goes faster. During the journey player can collect gold coins to buy magic items in the shop. There are no finish line, so the player encourage to get the highest score. 

Basic Features:

• Timun Mas has the ability to turn, jump, and throw magic items.
• Obstacles: rocks.
• The player will slow down by colliding with obstacles.
• Buto Ijo has the ability to get closer and catch Timun Mas.
• The game will get more challenging as the player run faster.

Advanced Features:

• Magic items: cucumber seed, needle, salts, and shrimp paste.
• Cucumber seed has the ability to grew large cucumber field.
• Needle has the ability to turned the ground into bamboo trees, sharp and thorny.
• Salt has the ability to turned the ground into a deep sea.
• Shrimp paste has the ability to turned the ground into a big swamp of boiling mud.
• Collected gold coins can be used to buy magic items in the shop.
